Our Global Markets (Sales & Trading) team is part of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Division of Santander. We offer risk management solutions, investment products, and execution services to a wide range of clients, including Corporates, Institutions, and Individuals. 

 

What You Will Gain 

Our Summer Analyst Program, beginning in June 2027, provides comprehensive training and introduction to Santander, CIB, and its capabilities. You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your development during the internship.

The 2027 Markets (Sales & Trading) Summer Analyst Program is for undergraduate students in a four-year program who have an anticipated graduation date of May/June 2028. Based in New York (NY), you will become part of an international business working with teams across different geographies.

While working alongside our experienced markets professionals, you’ll learn about global markets strategies and the comprehensive solutions we offer clients in any market conditions, and you will help provide and analyze information needed to create the right solutions for our clients. 

 

What You Bring 

  • An undergraduate student in a four-year program with an expected graduation date of May/June 2028. 

  • Cumulative GPA is 3.5 or above. 

  • Highly motivated and results oriented with a desire to exceed expectations. 

  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and courage. 

  • Sharp communication skills with the ability to express facts and ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, interacting professionally, transparently, and effectively with people at all levels.  

  • Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required, foreign language skills are a plus. 

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills. 

  • Strong critical thinking with the ability to develop solutions to complex challenges.  

  • Ability to multi-task as required. 

  • Ability to work independently on special projects. 

  • Ability to effectively contribute in a team environment. 

 

It Would Be Nice For You To Have 

  • Coursework in or exposure to finance, economics, accounting, or business. 

  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.
