Job description
A 6-month internship at Rothschild & Cie's legal department for Global Advisory, focusing on financial transactions and legal structuring. The intern will support the team in analyzing and executing complex financial operations, particularly in public market transactions.
Primary responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing current legal developments, producing operation structuring slides, enriching resources on various themes like public takeover bids and ESG issues, and drafting and reviewing confidentiality agreements and client engagement letters.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Business Law, Banking and Financial Law, or a similar field. Previous internship experience in law firms or corporations is preferred, with a demonstrated interest in capital markets and public M&A legal frameworks.
The internship offers a unique opportunity to discover the inner workings of an investment bank, with interns fully integrated into the team, sharing an office with team members and participating in weekly meetings where they present their work and current developments.
