Would you like to help build the next generation of antimoney laundering (AML) and financial sanctions machine learning models (ML) at a top-tier CEE bankand bring them reliably into production at scale?
 
We are expanding our agile teams in the Group Compliance tribe to further develop and operate our ML models across the whole CEE region.
Our solutions are built on an event-based architecture that connects payments, trading, CRM, and core-banking systems across RBI and the wider Raiffeisen Banking Group.
We are looking for an ML/Data Scientist Engineer who wants to own the full lifecyclefrom exploration and model development to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvementwhile helping us establish a robust ML-Ops framework for the entire group.

Your responsibilities:

 

 

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from multiple sources
  • Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms
  • Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations
  • Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Monitor and improve model performance over time
  • Stay updated with the latest data science tools and techniques

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
    • Statistics knowledge (hypothesis testing, evaluation metrics, class imbalance handling)
    • Hands-on experience with supervised learning (feature engineering/selection, hyperparameter tuning, evaluation)
    • Experience with data-quality analysis and data profiling
    • Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling
  • Business Knowledge
    • Understanding of banking/transaction data (or strong motivation to learn)
    • Willingness to create model documentation for regulatory, audit, and validation purposes
