You and Your Job
As a Sustainability Analyst, your role is essential in transforming sustainability data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and compliance.
The Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for sustainability data collection, integration, analysis, and visualization. Their data function will support sustainability related risk management, and provide the opportunity for cross domain collaboration, and ultimately support of the Rabobank business teams. This role is key for tying together multiple data initiatives and developing strategic insights.
Job Responsibilities
- Aggregate and integrate sustainability data from internal systems, third-party providers, and public sources.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for sustainability metrics across business units.
- Validate and enhance data quality, consistency, and completeness through validation and cleansing processes and proactive issue resolution.
- Data Analysis & Visualization
- Analyze sustainability performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI, to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Support scenario modeling and forecasting related to climate and environmental risk and carbon emissions.
- Perform quality assurance on sustainability data.
- Develop sustainability focused commentary that interpret data and provide actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
- Perform risk analysis on various entities related to Rabobank.
- Work closely with IT, Risk, Finance, and business teams to align data strategies.
- Provide technical support for sustainability data requests and ad hoc analyses.
- Contribute to the development of sustainability data governance policies and procedures
Your Promise to Us:
To be considered for the Sustainability Analyst role, you must have:
- Master's degree in Data Science, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Statistics, or
- a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within financial services or ESG.
- Proficiency in Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with ESG reporting standards and sustainability metrics related to the Food System and Energy Transition space.
- Ability to travel regionally up to 15%
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Salary Expectations:
Target Hiring Range: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00
This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
