Join QRT’s Global Infrastructure Team, a key enabler of our high-performance computing and trading platforms. The team manages the design, build, and operations of our global data centre and co-location estate, the physical infrastructure supporting both research and trading. You will be part of a hands-on engineering team responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and scalable data centre infrastructure that supports QRT’s real-time trading operations in major financial markets around the world.

This role involves close collaboration with global third-party vendors, infrastructure engineers, and internal stakeholders across multiple time zones.

You will also be required to support both BAU operations and new build-out projects, with domestic and international travel as part of the role.

Your future role within QRT:

  • Oversee the physical build and maintenance of QRT’s data centres and global co-location sites
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to manage on-site installations, upgrades, and expansions
  • Ensure all implementations follow QRT’s operational, security, and cabling standards
  • Maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation, including designs, rack layouts, and patching details
  • Participate in new project rollouts, including global trading infrastructure deployments
  • Work closely with global teams to align physical infrastructure with platform performance and operational goals

 

Your present skillset

  • Knowledge of data centre environments and financial exchange co-location ecosystems, especially across the Asia-Pacific region
  • Experience working with third-party vendors to successfully execute on-site changes and deployments
  • High standards of physical build quality and attention to detail in infrastructure layouts
  • Strong documentation and organization skills, with a focus on maintainability and operational readiness
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, globally distributed team environment
  • Ability to travel, including internationally, as required
  • Multilingual skills are a plus
