PwC Greece is seeking a motivated, self-driven Senior Associate for their Accounting Internal Firm Services team in Athens. The role involves managing tax compliance, accounting processes, and ensuring regulatory adherence while collaborating across internal teams.
Primary responsibilities include ensuring tax regulation compliance, preparing tax planning and filing activities such as VAT, Withholding Tax, VIES, Income Tax returns, and MYDATA. The role involves managing accounting, finance, and tax compliance activities, registering and processing journal entries in the ERP system, and maintaining overall responsibility for the accounting process.
Required experience includes 5+ years in accounting bookkeeping and tax compliance, with excellent academic credentials from a top-tier university. Candidates must have outstanding knowledge of tax laws and regulations, proficiency in Greek General Accounting Principles, corporate tax law, and myDATA. Strong technical skills in ERP systems (SAP preference), Microsoft Office Suite, and exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and analytical capabilities are essential.
