JOB DESCRIPTION
Please note: This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity The strategic Business Partnering team will provide consultation on people strategy, policies and programmes to their Business Unit. As People Consultant you will report to the Line of Service (LoS) Business Unit Senior People Consultant and will be responsible for supporting the Senior People Consultant to execute the People strategy and providing strategic support to their Business Unit/LoS across all areas of the People agenda.

What your days will look like:

  • Business Relationship Management: Supports Senior People Consultant on people strategy, policies, and programmes; builds trusted stakeholder relationships; helps develop Relationship Leaders and Career Coaches.
  • Inclusion, Culture & Wellbeing: Co-facilitates culture discussions; reviews engagement survey data; leads parts of Wellbeing and Inclusion plan; manages complex wellbeing cases and escalates as needed.
  • Talent & Development: Partners with People Solutions on early careers and exam progression; supports Director and Partner panels.
  • Reward & Performance: Oversees performance, promotion, and reward activities; leads junior moderation with business stakeholders.
  • HR Data & Insights: Manages cyclical data requirements; uses HR data for reporting, predicting needs, and designing interventions; educates on tools like ServiceNow.

The role is for you if:

  • you are adept in business partnering, with a strong understanding of all areas of HR
  • you have experience in HR with an understanding of all HR disciplines 
  • you have experience leading the delivery of cyclical processes such as performance and reward
  • you have experience managing performance improvement plans
  • you are a clear and articulate communicator confident in leading challenging or difficult conversations with stakeholders of all levels
  • you have experience gathering, analysing and interpreting HR data and analytics to provide meaningful insight to business leaders enabling informed decision making
  • you have experience in a large, complex organisation within Professional Services (beneficial but not essential)
