About the role:

Join our dynamic Enterprise Operations Transformation team at PwC Consulting as a Manager, where you will leverage your expertise in the London Insurance Market and beyond to drive claims process enhancements and operational efficiencies.

Enterprise Operations Transformation consulting, which has grown significantly, has been identified as a critical ‘Go To Market’ proposition for future growth in PwC Consulting. We are looking for candidates who have a strong consulting skillset, with experience in transforming operations within the Insurance industry. 

We have established a vision for our Enterprise Operations Transformation practise to be a market leader and we will deliver on that through winning and executing iconic projects and delivering industry specific solutions in: cost transformation and process excellence, productivity and capacity creation in people, process & technology, intelligent operations (automation, workflow orchestration and advanced analytics), as well as accelerated digital process transformation. 

Position Overview:

Operations Transformation, Insurance (Claims and/or Underwriting Focus)

Sector: Insurance, with a specialisation in Claims and/or Underwriting within the London Market

Focus: Leading transformation projects, enhancing claims and/or underwriting operations, and modernising processes.

What your days will look like:

  • Lead delivery of projects focused on claims process enhancement and/or underwriting transformation.

  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and tangible outcomes.

  • Manage teams working on business analysis, process mapping, system implementation, 

  • and product definition.

  • Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders in the London Market to align transformation efforts.

  • Optimise claims processes and improve service delivery.

  • Support proposals, pursuit activity, and development of thought leadership on underwriting modernisation

  • Translate business objectives into target operating models, system workflows, and data requirements.

This role is for you if:

  • You have proven experience in operational transformation within the insurance industry, particularly in claims and/or underwriting.

  • Familiarity with London Market systems and key stakeholders.

  • Good understanding of underwriting workflows, product structures, and rating principles.

  • Strong ability to deliver operational improvements and manage client relationships.

  • Ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
