JOB DESCRIPTION

A career in our Indirect Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever-changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Our team helps our clients optimize cash flow and reduce risk by managing challenges related to indirect taxes. You’ll support our clients with all aspects of indirect taxation related to global, regional and domestic projects as well as comprehensive restructuring and reporting value added tax projects.

What your days will look like:

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as an integral part of a team of problem solvers, helping our clients tackle their complex issues from strategy to execution.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Being involved in the financial management of clients

  • Working in multidisciplinary Indirect Tax teams (e.g. with customs, legal and systems specialists)

  • Keeping up to date with legislation and practical changes which impact indirect taxes

This role will enable you to work with senior leaders in our Indirect Tax practice, and we will invest in your development and provide you with access to business mentors to help maximize your potential.

The role is for you if have:

  • Indirect Tax technical and analytical skills

  • Flexible approach to allow you to work as part of a number of client/transaction teams simultaneously.

  • Experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internally.

  • Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to solve complex problems in a collaborative and creative way.

  • Experience of project managing and delegating work within a team context, with excellent communication skills.

  • A focus on self-development and in the development of others in your teams.
