About the role
PwC’s Insurance Tax team is the UK market leader in providing tax services to the insurance sector.
We work with general, life and health insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and the Lloyd’s market, serving major UK names as well as leading European, US and Bermudan groups. Alongside top-tier firms, we support medium-sized businesses and start-ups. Operating nationally, our team is centred in London with practices in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester and Bristol. We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join our growing team, delivering a wide range of tax services to clients across the insurance market in a collaborative environment.
What your days will look like:
- Support a portfolio of Financial Services Insurance clients, leading on direct tax advisory and compliance matters while supporting Senior Manager and Directors.
- Provide strategic solutions to complex insurance tax challenges, leveraging analytical skills and coordinating input from global specialists.
- Drive client growth and business development, identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships across the insurance market.
- Lead and develop the team, through coaching, training, and supervision, while staying ahead of regulatory changes and building your PwC brand.
This role is for you if:
- Proven experience in financial services, with strong ability to deliver high-quality work and manage complex client portfolios and projects.
- Excellent client relationship skills, confident in leading discussions with senior stakeholders and building trusted networks internally and externally.
- Strong organisational and risk management capabilities, with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines while staying informed on industry trends.
- Insurance direct tax experience would be helpful but is not essential, as long as you bring a solid foundation in financial services and a willingness to learn.
