Job Overview:
Our Quotient Team is seeking a Principal Researcher to serve as a core contributor within the Product Strategy team, providing deep, evidence-based understanding of end users and human behavior to inform firm-wide product, capability, and AI strategy.
This role is a hands-on human insights research expert responsible for executing complex research initiatives and translating findings into clear, decision-ready insights that shape product concepts, strategy narratives, and leadership discussions. The Principal Researcher ensures that product and capability decisions are grounded in rigorous research and strong end-user empathy
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and executing market, qualitative, and quantitative research to inform product and capability strategy
Conducting surveys, interviews, diary studies, desk research, and behavioral research Synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into clear, decision-grade insights
Developing personas, archetypes, and behavioral frameworks reflecting real user contexts Contributing directly to strategy decks and leadership materials with evidence-based insights
Translating research findings into implications for product concepts, initiatives, and prioritization
Maintaining deep end-user focus, consistently stepping into the shoes of consultants and practitioners
Partnering with Product Strategy, Design, and Product teams to embed insight early in decision making.
Experience Required:
8+ years of experience in user research, consumer insights, human-centered research, or behavioral research
Proven experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative research independently
Demonstrated experience with surveys, diary studies, interviews, synthesis, and behavioral analysis Experience developing personas, archetypes, and behavioral insights to inform strategy or product work
Experience working in or alongside product strategy, design, consulting, or technology teams preferred in a professional services environment Advanced qualitative research execution and synthesis
Survey design and applied quantitative analysis
Research documentation and insight storytelling
Familiarity with research and collaboration tools (survey platforms, Miro/Mural, presentation tools).
