About our team

 

Youll join the Settlement team, where we are mainly responsible for the timely settlement of trades. We foresee an increasing level of volumes and complexity over the next years, and new regulation making deadline even more crucial. Therefore we seek to continue our work with optimization and automation of our processes to ensure scalability. We are highly motivated in the post-trade space and are working on implementing new strategic initiatives surrounding the life cycle of a trade across various asset class types - in which you will play a key role.

 

What youll be doing

   Handle daily processing of trades and ensure on-time settlement (Equity & Bonds).
   Liaise with counterparties, custodians for any failure / issues to ensure fast and effective resolution.
   Seek to continuously optimize and automate processes to ensure scalable solutions are implemented.
   Make sure changes and new procedures are documented.
   Participate in stakeholder meetings and projects as required.

 

The team consists of highly skilled and passionate people with various backgrounds and the role is based in Quinta da Fonte (Oeiras).

   Proficient written and spoken English is a requirement, as the job is in an international environment.
   You are motivated for taking initiative and to speak up.
   Meticulous, alert and good with figures & details.
   Prior use of Simcorp Dimension, ALERT and SWIFT (tieto) would be good, however this is not a prerequisite.
