About our team
You will join team Mainframe Managed Services Organisation, who are responsible of optimize the Nordea Mainframe, governance of our supplier, Finance follow-up on Mainframe budget, compliance of the Mainframe, Make sure Mainframe is cost efficiency, Communication to our stakeholder.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Work as member of a dedicated Mainframe team
- Analysing the current use of mainframe software in the bank
- Defining, assessing and designing the alternatives and the new solutions to replace the existing
- Planning and executing migrations to the new target solution
- Modernize the Mainframe platform
Who you are
This is the right role for you if have a technical background. We expect you will have previous experience in on IBM Mainframe environment from other large companies, working as a Mainframe SME, System programmer or architect.
Your background and skills include:
- Knowledge & experience on working with IBM zOS
- Knowledge of Endevor configuration
- Experience on cross-platform communications
- Knowledge of mainframe and midrange scripting languages
- Knowledge of mainframe Unix System Service
It would be ideal if you also:
- Knowledge of mainframe SDLC, CICD and VSCode
- Understanding of midrange tools and integration with mainframe
- Mainframe infrastructure (transaction managers, databases, queue systems, CICS, IMS, ...)
