What youll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Lead Data & Analytics Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to define end-to-end process and data flow diagrams and maturing with process flow tools and enhancing the process with AI and Machine technologies. Provide strong data analysis and data modelling. Handle client onboarding, trading, margin, lending, asset servicing, and calculation of portfolio values. Write user stories with detailed and comprehensive acceptance criteria that can be used by development and testing teams. Drive product development including requirement gathering, technical solutioning, dependency resolution, and overall lifecycle management of the product. Act as an SME for all Middle office products and services, and be the starting point for those discussions with Product owners and Business. Drive complex decisions with technology partners. Scale technical infrastructure to meet the demands of global customers. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What youll bring to the role:

-Requires a Masters degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field of study

-Requires three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or a closely related occupation

-Requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills:

  • performing system design, analysis, and maintenance on software programs and applications in microservice architecture to identify the system response rate, performance rate, and sustainability using SQL server and Oracle server;
  • analytical dashboards and data analysis using monitoring and reporting tools including Tableau and Power BI;
  • Agile- Scrum, SAFe, and hybrid methodologies including backlog management, user story creation, and facilitating Agile ceremonies;
  • end-to-end project lifecycle management including project chartering, roadmap creation, milestone planning, and risk/issue tracking;
  • creating Business Requirements Document, Functional Requirements Document, Software/System Requirements Specification, Requirements Traceability Matrix, Unified Modeling Language diagrams, process flowcharts, data mapping, and training materials;
  • MS Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $159,000 and $159,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
