Full Job Description

We are looking for a Vice President / Executive Director to join the China Institutional Sales team within the Fixed Income Division in Hong Kong or Beijing. The role will focus on building and managing relationships with Chinese institutional clients and delivering crossasset fixed income solutions across global markets.

In the Fixed Income division, we work in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets to assess and manage risk, trade securities, manage relationships with clients, and structure and execute innovative transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Cover and expand the financial institution client base in China (with a focus on financial institutions in north China), deepening client relationships.

Originate and execute structured solutions, including bonds, notes or OTC derivatives linked to rates, credit, or FX.

Identify client needs in yield enhancement, liability hedging, and regulatory capital optimization, and propose appropriate structured products / derivatives.

Support roadshows and primary bond issuance when combined with structured solutions.

Provide training to junior sales and internal colleagues and contribute to strategic growth of the China structured solutions franchise.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 6+ years of frontline fixed income sales or solutions experience at a bank or securities house.

Proven track record covering Chinese financial institutions with deep relationships.

Exceptional understanding of structured notes, OTC derivatives (rates/credit), and fixed income macro products.

Familiarity with onshore/offshore bond markets, Bond Connect, crossborder regulatory frameworks, and product documentation.

Experience with Bloomberg and other trading venues.

Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) mandatory
