Job Overview
Team/Role Overview
The Fixed Income Structurer is responsible for origination, product development and execution of fixed income transactions for clients in the Asia ex Japan region. Transactions are expected to span across a wide swathe of products including Structured Notes, derivatives hedging, TRS and repos. The role will involve regular interactions with sales, trading and control function teams. Strong understanding of Local Market rates is highly preferred.
What youll do
- Originate transactions through new payoffs / idea generations internally and to clients
- Structure, draft termsheets and lead execution of mandated transactions
- Scenario analysis, back testing and client portfolio analysis
- Lead approval processes of new products and bespoke transactions
- Be an integral member of a team that will generate product ideas
- Conduct origination, credit analysis, due diligence etc for private credit transactions
- Work collaboratively with key partners in Sales, Trading, other control functions and structurers in other regions
What well need from you
- Familiarity with the pricing of derivatives, Structured Note market and financing trades, highly competent at using spreadsheets, building tools etc.
- Experience of dealing with legal, regulatory and accounting issues (issues, documents, rules, people etc.) is preferred
- A quantitative degree in e.g. mathematics, physics, computer science or economics is preferred.
