About the Role:
This position is a critical part of the Investor Relations / Client Service group, with a strong focus on documentation, reporting, and data review. The role requires a detail-oriented and client-focused professional who can manage investor-related tasks efficiently while collaborating with stakeholders.
Principal Responsibilities:
Investor Documentation and Administration:
Assist with investor fund documentation and liaise with fund administrator.
Organize, review, and upload investor documentation into the CRM system.
Update CRM/investor database with investor account details and trade documentation.
Compliance and Regulatory Tasks:
Conduct compliance checks (e.g., AML, CFTC) on prospective and existing investors.
Liaise with internal compliance and accounting teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare internal and external reports in Excel to analyze investor base, asset flows, and other key metrics.
Update fund information in relevant databases.
Investor Relations Support:
Assist in the completion of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Support the preparation and review of marketing materials.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Finance, Business, or a related field).
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably at an asset management firm, hedge fund, or financial services company.
Skills:
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a time-sensitive environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Client-service focused with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with compliance processes (e.g., AML, CFTC).
Experience working with CRM systems and investor databases.
Knowledge of asset management or hedge fund operations is a plus.
