The Treasury Operations department covers all aspects of Cash Management, Securities Settlements & Reconciliations, Payments, Exchange & Bank Reconciliations, CASS Client Money Reconciliation.
The Treasury Operations Control manager supports the effective running of Treasury Operations by owning core systems, bank portal administration, internal controls and assists in broader securities settlements and cash management processes. The role partners closely with the Head of Treasury Operations and Deputy Treasury Operations Manager for EMEA to ensure robust governance, audit readiness, process optimisation, issue resolution management and accurate and timely execution of key operational activities. This position plays a critical role in maintaining Treasurys control environment and ensuring a high standard of operational discipline across the team.

Responsibilities:
Bank Portals, Treasury Systems & Access Administration
Administer user access, entitlements and segregationofduties controls across bank portals and Treasury systems.
Perform periodic access reviews, signature list updates, mandate controls and monitor system administration changes.
Support system enhancements, UAT, incident tracking, documentation, and release management.
Maintain uptodate process notes, access matrixes and system workflows.
Cash & Liquidity Operations
Maintain the control framework for cash positioning and liquidity reporting.
Ensure strong controls, documentation and reconciliations across all cash and liquidity workflows.
Oversee policy adherence, approvals and limit checks for FX and cash placement activities.
Maintain oversight of interest calculation processes and validation controls.
Reconciliations, Data Integrity & Balance Sheet Support
Understand and assist in the reconciliation processes for Nostro, broker/exchange and securities cash accounts by supporting control checks, documentation and issue followup.
Understand the flow of data between systems and GL and assist in escalating breaks, data quality issues or system discrepancies to the appropriate teams.
Support Financial Control and Legal Entity Controllers in substantiating treasuryrelated balance sheet accounts through data preparation, variance analysis and control evidence gathering.
Internal Controls, SOX, Compliance & Audit Support
Maintain Treasurys control framework and ensure operational controls are executed in line with policies and procedures.
Coordinate SOX testing, internal audit requests and documentation updates.
Track remediation activities, issues, and incident reporting through to closeout.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including KYC, payment controls, sanctions-related processes (in coordination with Compliance).
Reporting & Issue Management
Prepare operational reporting packs, control dashboards, KPIs and metrics for management.
Manage operational incidents, rootcause analysis and corrective action tracking.
Process Improvement, Projects & Cross Functional and Team Collaboration
Contribute to impact assessments for new business proposals affecting Treasury operations.
Partner closely with the Treasury Operations Change team to:
o Identify opportunities to automate, streamline or standardise Treasury processes and controls.
o Delivery of system upgrades, new banking integrations and strategic Treasury projects.
Partner closely with the wider Finance team, Technology, Risk and Operations to deliver endtoend improvement initiatives.
Contribute ideas and feedback that enhance the Treasury Operations function and support the firms growth.
Support the Treasury Operations Manager in ensuring consistent execution of daily tasks and controls.
Provide guidance to more junior staff on best practices, processes and system usage.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a Treasury function or similar operational environment; cash management, Treasury systems or banking operations experience preferred.
Proficiency with bank portals, electronic banking systems, and ideally a Treasury Management System.
Strong understanding of operational controls, SOX and audit frameworks.
Detailoriented, controlminded and capable of operating in a fastpaced environment.
Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and deliver robust, scalable improvements, partnering effectively with technology and data teams
Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Strong Excel, reporting and documentation skills.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work as part of a highperforming team and positively influence stakeholders across frontoffice and support functions
Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
Sarbanes Oxley Responsibilities:
As a Control Owner or Manager of a Control Owner you are expected to (where relevant):
Be responsible for maintaining the internal control assigned to you in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley
Day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and verification of internal controls designed to mitigate financial reporting risks and ensure SOX compliance.
Implement and Maintain Controls: This involves ensuring that internal controls are designed, documented, and implemented effectively to address identified financial reporting risks.
Monitor and Test Controls: Regularly assess the effectiveness of controls through testing and monitoring to ensure they are operating as designed and remain effective over time.
Assist with internal quarterly reporting as applicable.
Duties include ensuring appropriate systems and controls are in place for reporting and compliance under SOX
