Role Summary

Provide front-to-back sales support and operational coverage for the physical precious metals business, with a focus on gold and silver. The role supports execution, trade lifecycle management, and settlement across LBMA-cleared markets, with working knowledge of Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) and Hong Kong Gold Exchange operations.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Support sales and trading in execution of physical precious metals transactions
  • Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle from execution to settlement and reconciliation
  • Ensure accurate settlement under LBMA standards (e.g. loco London, HKG, Singapore )
  • Support operational processes related to SGE and Hong Kong Gold Exchange trades
  • Liaise with internal teams, counterparties, vaults, and service providers
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve settlement or operational issues
  • Adhere to internal controls, operational risk frameworks, and escalation procedures
  • Act in accordance with SFC Code of Conduct and Marex Code of Conduct
  • To escalate risk events immediately
  • To provide input to risk management processes, as required.
  • The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time

  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
