About the role:

An FX Sales Trader plays a crucial role in the financial markets, particularly in the foreign exchange (FX) sector. This role is dynamic and requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Key responsibilities:

As an FX Sales Trader, you will be responsible for:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored FX solutions
Monitoring and analyzing foreign exchange markets to provide clients with timely and relevant market insights
Executing FX trades on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
Identifying and managing risks associated with FX trading activities, adhering to internal and external risk management policies
Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the client base through proactive sales efforts
Maintaining accurate records of all trading activities and preparing regular reports for clients and management
Working closely with other departments, such as compliance, operations, and research, to ensure seamless service delivery.

Essential experience & skills:

We want to set you up for success and we believe these experiences and skills will help you thrive in this role:
+3 years of experience as FX Sales/Corporate Sales (B2B)
Fluent Italian and good English speaker. Other languages are a plus
Experience of working in a commercial bank or an FX broker dealing with SMEs will be a plus
Excellent communication skills
Able to develop sales strategies through your commercial acumen and ambition
Comfortable with a phone sales approach
Ability to work in a Team
Skilled in establishing strong relationship.
