Join our innovative and dynamic team within our Cyber Security division and help us ensure our corporate assets and information are adequately protected. The Secure by Design team is responsible for working with internal and/or external teams throughout the project life cycle to provide security advice, define security architectures/designs for their initiatives and projects and perform security assessment of project design and implementation. As part of its innovation charter, the team stay abreast with the global security landscape and finds innovative solutions to secure business initiatives through ongoing relationships with vendors and partners.

What role will you play?

Your responsibilities will include serving as a resource to our various business lines by partnering with technical delivery teams to work with technologies, including cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), MDM providers, identity providers, and automation tools, to help drive the secure evolution of the organisation. You will also be involved in working with various stakeholders to provide security advice, helping them understand the severity of security risks and the associated remediation activities. Additionally, you will be reviewing our security capabilities, providing recommendations, and collaborating with stakeholders to uplift the security capability landscape, as well as contributing to the development of security architecture patterns.

What you offer

  • 10+ years experience in technical design and architecture roles and 7+ years' of security experience in large enterprises 
  • Current or previous experience in designing and architecting security solutions for business and technology initiatives 
  • Familiarity and experience in formal security architecture aspects, including logical and physical security architecture/design 
  • Familiarity with SABSA, NIST 800-53, Open FAIR, MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND, CISSP, threat modelling and related methodologies or frameworks 
  • Demonstrable experience working with device management, productivity tools, virtual desktop, EDR, vulnerability management and other related technologies 
  • Experience with application security, eComms, CoPilot, Claude and other workplace AI platforms is desirable 
  • Familiarity working within an Agile environment 
  • Sound understanding of vendor technologies and roadmaps and remains current with key IT industry themes and emerging trends.
