Join the Equity Finance (Stock Borrow & Lending) team supporting a global trading desk. You will play a key role across trade lifecycle management, analytics and process optimisation, ensuring strong control, data integrity and operational discipline. This role provides direct exposure to front office activity and contributes to trading outcomes.

What role will you play?

Support SBL traders across trade lifecycle management and issue resolution
Produce and maintain desk analytics across inventory, utilisation, funding, balance sheet usage, revenue optimisation and P&L drivers to support decision making
Coordinate across Front Office, Operations and Technology to improve process transparency and execution
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scalability, reduce manual touchpoints and strengthen controls
Maintain static data integrity (securities, counterparties, collateral schedules) and support onboarding of new markets/instruments
Support a strong risk culture through proactive issue identification, escalation and resolution

What you offer

Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline
15 years experience in Equities, Prime Services, Equity Finance or Trade Support roles
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret trading data, inventory, funding and P&L drivers
Experience with data analytics and automation tools (e.g. Power BI, Python, Power Automate)
Understanding of equity markets, securities financing and trade lifecycle processes
Exposure to Stock Borrow & Lending, equity swaps or financing products preferred
Strong control mindset with focus on accuracy, risk management and data integrity
Clear, concise communication with ability to engage across Front Office, Operations, Risk and Technology
Highly organised with ability to manage competing priorities
Commercial mindset with strong problem-solving capability
