About the job:

Job Purpose & Objectives

As part of the Equity Derivatives Sales-Trading team, price and manage the risks of the client driven Asia-Pacific activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pricing & Derivatives: Price equity structured and exotic derivative products globally, while monitoring and marking market parameters like volatilities, dividends, and repo rates.

  • Risk Management: Run risk reports to analyze positions, assist in desk P&L analysis, and dynamically hedge risks against potential market movements.

  • Automation & Development: Build tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline standard product workflows (pricing, booking, documentation), and upgrade trading pricers alongside headquarters.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Collect market intelligence and generate reports on sales and client activity to support trader decision-making.

  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with Sales, Sales Trading, and other internal desks, while reporting performance and key issues to direct management.

  • Compliance: Ensure full alignment with all regulatory, contractual, and internal rules and regulations.


Job Specifications


Qualification & Experience

  • Master degree in Finance and or Engineering

  • Experience in the Equity Derivatives industry is required


Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong mathematical and quantitative skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong programming skills


Language

  • Fluent in English


Other Skills (e.g. Interpersonal, Communication etc)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Customer-oriented

  • Able to work in a matrix reporting structure, multi-functional and cross-cultural environment

  • Well-organized and meticulous in details
