An opportunity for an experienced Execution Trader to grow Macquarie's Futures business in EMEA, based in London. Responsible for covering regional clients with Multi Asset Futures and Options Sales/Trading, developing a global client franchise with a follow-the-sun coverage model.
Primary responsibilities include developing Macquarie's global client franchise, implementing a 'follow-the-sun' coverage model, and taking responsibility for origination and coverage of a diverse client base including Asset Managers, Pensions, Insurance, Corporates, and Banks. The role involves promoting the franchise, engaging key targets, maximizing revenue opportunities, and ensuring business targets are achieved with appropriate controls and risk management.
Required experience includes a minimum of 3 years in a revenue-generating role, demonstrable track record of growing and maintaining an institutional business, and ability to identify value-added execution strategies. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of the global derivatives industry, cross-asset class expertise, and preferably commodities background. Strong skills in client relationship management, strategic business development, and execution capabilities are essential.
