In the Economic Crime Prevention (ECP) Platform, our mission is to reduce harm to our communities by enhancing the Group's capability to prevent, detect and respond to economic crime. The Platform sits within Consumer Relationships and plays a critical role in providing services across the whole Group.



What you'll be doing


The Product Manager will play a central role in shaping and sustaining the Economic Crime Prevention (ECP) North Star ecosystem. This includes:

  • Develop and maintain a granular understanding of the ECP North Star design, ensuring clarity on how its components interconnect and deliver an integrated economic crime prevention ecosystem.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and key stakeholders to ensure common understanding of the North Star design, translating strategic intent into practical requirements and delivery approaches.
  • Actively gather, interpret and incorporate feedback to assess how the North Star design will work in reality, identifying constraints, opportunities and necessary adaptations.
  • Help individual products—led by Product Owners—to interlink effectively, ensuring coherence across journeys, data flows, capabilities and controls.
  • Champion an ecosystem mindset, ensuring that products evolve not in isolation but as part of a coordinated and complete suite of economic crime prevention capabilities.
  • Interpret and apply policy to achieve defined outcomes, advising the wider organisation where needed.
  • Analyse key themes using data from a wide range of sources, identifying potential impacts on the business.

What you’ll need!

  • Strong knowledge of Economic Crime Prevention, including Fraud, AML, Sanctions and Anti‑Bribery, and how these risks influence customers, systems and controls.
  • Strategic attitude with the ability to define and champion a clear product vision aligned to ECP goals.
  • Experience creating and managing product roadmaps, prioritising features and driving delivery of measurable outcomes.
  • Confident working across functions with Product Owners, Engineers, Data Specialists and other Product Managers to deliver joined‑up solutions.
  • Comfortable working with data, cloud platforms, APIs and modern tooling used in economic crime prevention.
  • Good understanding of risk, control and regulatory expectations across key Economic Crime domains.
  • Strong communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders and explain complex product topics clearly.
  • Solid Agile delivery experience, including backlog shaping, planning and working within governance frameworks.
  • Awareness of commercial and vendor considerations, including cloud cost management and third‑party integrations.
