Job description
A 6-month internship at Lazard Frères Banque in the Legal and Compliance Department, supporting the General Counsel with various legal and regulatory tasks across asset management and banking operations. Ideal for law students or business school students with strong regulatory knowledge and bilingual skills.
Primary responsibilities include participating in legal document drafting in French and English, conducting legal and regulatory analyses for AMF and ACPR regulations, reviewing and negotiating contracts with providers, updating standard contract templates, supporting implementation of regulatory projects like DORA, establishing legal and regulatory monitoring processes, and assisting in joint venture and investment participation processes.
Required experience includes a Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in law, business, or legal studies, comprehensive understanding of banking and asset management regulatory environments, strong analytical and communication skills in French and English, rigorous organizational capabilities, team collaboration abilities, and demonstrated autonomy and intellectual curiosity.
