KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Finance and Accounting organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of Advisory Digital's monthly financial reports
- Serve as a trusted business advisor working with functional leaders in developing their annual plan and forecast
- Routinely review and analyze firmwide financial results and discuss variances with the functional leaders
- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision making, with the ability to simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points (tell the business story that supports the numbers)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and provide financial insights
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities to confirm entries are properly recorded in general ledger and in accordance with the firm's policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of progressive accounting and financial planning and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field from an accredited college or university preferred
- Experience working on business cases, compiling data from different stakeholders and ability to present in an easy to understand' manner
- Prior knowledge with data retrieval and reporting systems such as Hyperion Financial Management, PeopleSoft Financials, or SAP
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Ability to be a strategic thinker with a proactive and results driven mindset
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
