We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager - Trust Finance Operations

In this role, you will:

  • Assist Team Head in implementing strategies and policies to achieve business objectives (strategic and logical thinking to support decision-making and delivery)
  • Manage daily operations of client and trustee payments, with strong understanding of end-to-end payment workflows and controls
  • Prepare annual clients' accounts, regular schedules, and ad-hoc reports. Update account data under Net Asset Value system; handle workflows; perform cash/securities reconciliations
  • Support daily Central Billing operations, including issuing debit notes, maintaining fee scales, fee charging, and billing & collection processes. Prepare fee reports including monthly fee variance analysis, ageing report and bad debt provision
  • Support User Acceptance Testing for software enhancements and upgrades. Ensure Global Operating Model and signed-off process/procedure provided by Business is implemented throughout daily process
  • Act as the subject matter expert (Individual Contributor) in certain work queues / processes by resolving the team's queries / referred issues, providing advice on cases handling, and providing input / assistance from the technical perspective in team's projects / streamlining initiatives
  • Assist in analyzing and recommending quality / productivity control measures to improve the quality / productivity of the process
  • Re-assessing the operational risks inherent in the business and implementing changes, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices

To be successful you will:

  • A bachelors degree with payment, accounting & finance background is a must
  • Certified Public Accountant / Intermediate Accountant is preferred
  • At least 7-12 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Good command of spoken and written English skills
  • Computer literate and proficiency in microsoft office applications like excel, word and powerpoint
  • Evidence of strong analytical, statistical and data mining skills to study trends, make projections and to interpret numeric information. Evidence of strong operational decision making and be able to provide analytical support to the teams
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with business units and continuously give feedback by stringent follow-up on service level agreements
  • Ability to be flexible and willing to change along with changes in corporate and department objectives in addition to recommending changes to assist in meeting these objectives
