Full Job Description
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Role Objective
To independently lead engagements with analytical and financial rigor across CDD, feasibility, and strategy, including:
- Translating ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches
- Leading financial model build, review, and stress-testing
- Developing commercial insights and strategic recommendations grounded in data
- Supporting senior stakeholders with clear, defensible investment views
Core Capability Requirements
1. Commercial Due Diligence & Strategy exposure
- Hands-on experience in:
- CDD engagements (market, competition, target assessment, business plan review)
- Commercial strategy and feasibility studies
- Ability to independently:
- Structure workstreams
- Identify key value drivers and risks
- Develop clear investment theses / strategic options
2. Advanced Financial Analysis & Modeling
- Strong expertise in:
- Building and reviewing complex financial models (especially real estate, infrastructure, and FS)
- Scenario analysis, sensitivities, and return metrics (IRR, NPV, payback)
- Ability to diagnose issues in models quickly and refine assumptions
- Experience working with investment cases, feasibility models, and transaction scenarios
3. Strong Business Acumen
- Ability to rapidly:
- Understand new sectors and business models
- Identify commercial levers and risks
- Experience across multiple sectors
4. Independent Workstream Leadership
- Proven ability to:
- Own and deliver end-to-end analytical modules
- Work directly with senior stakeholders
- Operate with minimal supervision in high-pressure timelines
Preferred Background
- CFA Level II (or above) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in:
- Equity research, transaction advisory, or investment advisory roles
- Strategy consulting with strong analytical exposure
- Hands-on financial modelling experience and extreme comfort with financial analysis
Experience working on investment evaluations and/or financial feasibilities
