POSITION SUMMARY

Seeking a Vice President to join the Private Credit Operations team as a Deal Closer supporting the Direct Lending Deal Team. The Private Credit Deal Closer will partner closely with investment teams and internal and external stakeholders, including legal, tax, finance, and operations, to lead and coordinate all aspects of transaction execution, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely completion and funding of deals across the Direct Lending and Junior Debt investment platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary execution lead for deal closings, owning the process from final credit approval through funding and post-close handoff.
  • Coordinate closely with administrative agents and lender syndicates to confirm allocations, funding mechanics, settlement timelines, and closing logistics.
  • Prepare, update, and distribute comprehensive funds flow memoranda to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate execution risks, documentation gaps, or timing conflicts, proposing solutions to keep transactions on track.
  • Review and validate key economic and structural terms (pricing, advance rates, fees, amortization, conditions precedent) to ensure accurate reflection in documentation and systems.
  • Work with KKR Legal, external counsel, administrative agents, and other parties on KYC items.
  • Process improvement: work with technology and deal teams to enhance systems for greater efficiency.
  • Oversee a team of other junior Deal Closers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8-10+ years of experience leading complex loan closings with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in private credit or syndicated loan financing.
  • Familiarity with credit agreements, amendments, and documentation from an operational and execution perspective.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, transaction-heavy environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly with senior internal stakeholders and external counterparties, including agents and lenders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build, and maintain detailed transaction and funding models
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to quickly grasp key concepts.

This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
