Full Job Description
A leading global alternative asset manager is seeking an experienced Middle Office professional to join its Operations team. This position delivers essential investment operations support across funds, separately managed accounts, and portfolio companies, with a primary focus on EMEA CLO strategies. The role operates within a fast-paced, collaborative environment and requires strong technical expertise, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
The successful candidate will act as the primary operational contact for all transactions supporting EMEA CLO desks. Responsibilities include producing daily cash and liquidity reports for front office teams, supporting funding requirements, and overseeing end-to-end operational processes such as trade support, loan settlements, asset servicing, collateral management, reconciliations, and NAV oversight. The role involves close collaboration with Finance, Trustees, Servicers, and Pricing teams to prepare, validate, and reconcile monthly CLO reporting. Additional responsibilities include monitoring deal pipelines to ensure operational readiness and timely settlement, responding to ad-hoc reporting requests, supporting fund onboarding and new business initiatives, and driving process improvements through project work and operational re-engineering.
Candidates should ideally possess seven or more years of relevant experience in investment operations or middle office functions. A strong understanding of CLO structures, reporting, compliance, and P&L is essential, along with experience across bank debt products (both syndicated and private) and CLO debt and equity. Advanced Microsoft Office skills are required, while experience with VPM, Everest, IVP, MicroStrategy, data visualization tools, and emerging AI or machine learning solutions is advantageous. A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a proven track record of process improvement are critical to success in this role.
