As a Trading Services Associate, you will perform detailed analysis and remediation of complex cases and tickets received from Advisors, Fund and Money Managers, and Carriers. Your role requires strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, timely escalation of business risk incidents, and a commitment to process transformation to drive scalability and strengthen controls. You will maintain a customer-centric approach, consistently deliver excellence, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively with business partners across the value chain.

Job responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth analysis and remediation of complex cases and tickets received from Financial Advisors, Fund/ Money Managers and Carriers. 
  • Ensure all cases and tickets are processed in accordance with established SOPs. Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. 
  • Provide regular updates on case and ticket status, as well as any issues or concerns. 
  • Collaborate with business partners across the value chain to ensure alignment and effective problem-solving.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the SOPs and ensure strict adherence. Stay up-to-date with any changes or updates to the SOPs and ensure compliance. Document and report any deviations from the SOPs.
  • Identify potential business risk incidents and escalate them promptly and urgently. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to mitigate identified risks. Maintain accurate records of all risk incidents and actions taken. Ensure that the risk framework is optimal by leveraging domain knowledge and a deep understanding of the process across a wide variety of risks.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities for process improvement. Participate in initiatives aimed at transforming processes to enhance scalability and efficiency. Implement best practices to ensure robust controls management.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of intraday and end-of-day processes, including thorough completeness and reconciliation checks to validate new trading activity and general book management. This role collaborates closely with Operations and infrastructure teams to foster a unified, ‘one team’ approach to supporting business objectives. The specialist develops a deep understanding of trading structures from both financial and operational perspectives, enabling effective oversight and continuous improvement of process integrity and control.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trading services, financial analysis, or a related role
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in financial analysis tools and software
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective risk management, timely escalation, and commitment to process improvement and transformation
  • Customer-focused mindset with adaptability and a drive for continuous learning
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results with minimal supervision
