Job Summary
As a Trading Services Analyst within JPMorgan’s Exchange Traded Fund Create/Redeem Middle Office, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the ETF trade lifecycle from a primary market standpoint in a fast paced and high-risk environment. You will be working closely with Traders, Market Makers, Custodian, and ETF issuers along with various internal infrastructure groups to ensure seamless order processing and settlement. Job responsibilities
- Support order placement for agency and principal create/redeem ETFs with various underliers.
- Complete intra-day and end-of-day processes, ensuring accurate trade capture and book management.
- Reconcile traders P&L and trade bookings daily to review any discrepancies that would result in risk
- Serve as a liaison between front office, back office, and external counterparties to review breaks and settlement issues.
- Facilitate client and cross-organizational communication to identify and address real-time risk issues.
- Participate in strategic initiatives to improve processes and business architecture.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 0-2 years of work experience in Finance Operations roles.
- Basic understanding of US/International equities and Fixed Income markets
- Basic ETF lifecycle knowledge as it pertains to primary markets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with traders and functional partners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with risk management in equity trading.
- Proficiency in trade lifecycle management, including trade capture and settlement.
- Familiarity with financial control and P&L reporting.
- Knowledge of payment infrastructure and order placement controls.
