As an Analyst in Trade and Working Capital Operations within the Trade & Working Capital team, you will support the execution and management of trade finance products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies. You will leverage your expertise to process transactions such as import and export bills, letters of credit, and open account trading. You will play a key role in risk management and operational efficiency, contributing to the teams success in a dynamic, global environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Support daily operations for trade finance products, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing
- Handle and turn around transactions within agreed service level agreements
- Follow, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures for all processes
- Drive efficiency by implementing best practices and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Actively engage in new deals and participate in project management calls to facilitate smooth migrations
- Ensure effective adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements in daily operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions and transactional expertise
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Graduate with a 5+ years of experience in Trade Finance Operations
- Well versed in URC, UCP, URR, and ISBP guidelines
- Subject matter expertise in LC issuance, advising, confirmation, and document checking processes
- Strong understanding of US regulations and OFAC compliance
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Experience handling payment messages such as MT103, MT202, and MT101
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) conducted by IFSA London
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to business objectives
