As a Senior Franchise and Global Banking Business Manager within a dynamic team, you will promote impactful business strategies, collaborate with senior leaders, and contribute to the growth of our franchise. You will assist in key business, strategic, regulatory, and governance priorities for the Swiss franchise, building product knowledge and awareness of business and country developments. Your role involves understanding the local competitive environment and reviewing strategic opportunities to enhance J.P. Morgan’s competitive positioning. You will support the development of business and location impacting strategies, focusing on business and franchise growth, and partner with key stakeholders to provide strategic guidance. Acting as a country representative in regional and business forums, you will also serve as the secretariat for senior location committees. You will respond to regulatory requests and manage preparations for inspections, coordinate agendas for senior visitors, and assist with internal communications. Additionally, you will promote the local communications agenda, develop franchise-focused strategy offsites, and oversee performance metrics for the business. Managing the location budget for events and sponsorships, you will analyze JPMorgan’s competitive position and partner with EMEA business managers to promote country-specific initiatives. Finally, you will prepare business performance presentations and reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in key business/strategic, regulatory, and governance priorities for the Swiss franchise
  • Build product knowledge and awareness of business and country developments and requirements. Understand the local competitive environment and review strategic opportunities that may enhance J.P. Morgan’s competitive positioning in the local market.
  • Support development of business and location impacting strategy, focusing on business and franchise growth. Partner with key stakeholders in the franchise to provide strategic guidance. Run the real estate strategy for the franchise.
  • Act as a country representative in regional and business forums where appropriate. Secretariat for senior location committees. 
  • Responds to regulatory requests for information and manages preparation for inspections. 
  • Coordinate, plan and deliver the agenda for senior J.P. Morgan visitors to location. Assist with regional / country internal communications as needed. Drive local comms agenda, including planning Town Halls. Coordinate with Comms team for location impacting news. Develop franchise focussed strategy offsites. 
  • Develop and oversight of performance metrics for the business, including financial, pipeline, expenses. Manage location budget for the internal and external events, external body memberships and sponsorships.
  • Analyse, monitor and have an understanding of JPMorgan’s competition position.

  • Partner with EMEA business managers and the corporate strategy team to drive country specific initiatives and growth areas.

  • Prepare business performance presentations/reviews. 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Pro-active and problem-solving mind-set with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; flexibility, ability to prioritize requests and multi-task.
