Job responsibilities
- Leads multiple infrastructure architecture process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide objectives
- Directly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focus
- Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business
- Bridges the gaps with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives to drive consensus across competing objectives
- Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations
- Be responsible for staffing, budget, and relevant profit and loss
- Mentors and coaches junior architects and technologists
- Champions the firms culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representation
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
- Experience developing and leading large and cross-functional teams of infrastructure architects
- Experience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability
- Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
- Extensive practical cloud native experience
- Experience working at the code level
