As an Insurance Service Manager I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the appropriate insurance coverage for assets and collateral. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing the quality and timeliness of servicing activities, and in maintaining alignment with portfolio servicing guidelines. You will be a key partner to our vendor/servicing team, leading the charge in identifying trends and root causes of errors. Your ability to manage conflicts, think critically, and maintain personal resiliency will be essential as you navigate the complexities of insurance servicing. Your role will also involve strategic planning and effective time management, as you work towards improving our current working methods and achieving short-term objectives that impact our department.

Job responsibilities 
  • Conduct thorough reviews of insurance coverage for assets and collateral, ensuring alignment with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the vendor/servicing team to identify trends and root causes of errors, contributing to the continuous improvement of our insurance servicing processes.
  • Utilize advanced strategic planning skills to propose and implement improvements to current working methods, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Apply proficient conflict management skills to facilitate discussions and negotiations, resolving any arising conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive reports on servicing activity, providing valuable insights for short-term decision making and departmental planning. 
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Two or more years of experience or equivalent expertise in insurance servicing, specifically in reviewing assets and collateral for appropriate coverage. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conflict management, with a track record of facilitating discussions and creating win-win solutions.
  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking skills to organize, compare, and critically evaluate various aspects of insurance servicing.
  • Experience in strategic planning, with the ability to define organizational direction and make decisions on resource allocation.
  • Advanced proficiency in time management and organization, with a demonstrated ability to efficiently manage and monitor multiple tasks and activities. 
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 
  • Developing understanding of AI/ML technologies to enhance insurance processes and improve insurance servicing.  
  • Innovative mindset, motivated to continuously improve processes.
