As an Operational Analytics Vice President in Commercial & Investment Bank Credit Risk, you will partner with senior leaders to deliver analytics, reporting, and insights that drive operational optimization. You will translate business questions into scalable data solutions and executive-ready narratives. You will help us improve alignment and processes across teams by using data to identify opportunities, measure outcomes, and drive action.

Job responsibilities

  • Interface with business leaders and stakeholders to clearly explain results and hone analytics to address business concerns and/or evolve strategies.

  • Support the development, implementation, and execution of key reporting to be leveraged by senior audience, including reporting data model design and implementation.

  • Synthesize business needs and design and execute analytical use cases focused on delivering timely and relevant operational insights.

  • Provide tactical and strategic assistance to help drive operational alignment and process improvement across CIB Credit Risk and within the internal team.

  • Identify areas for continued process improvement and efficiencies by generating innovative ideas/solutions.

  • Prepare presentation materials to be shared with management, business groups and other stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelors degree with minimum 7 years of work experience

  • Expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, SQL, Python and/or R and analytical tools such as Alteryx and visualization tools such as Qlik Sense and Tableau is required

  • Technical and analytical  ability to analyze and synthesize large amount of data, while incorporating relevant business context, to develop strategic conclusions.

  • Project management and execution Organizational and time management skills to manage across multiple priorities and through changing business demand and deliver on the agreed upon scope and timeline

  • Teamwork and leadership ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional setting and drive towards the strategic end-state.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize story for executive-level audience and adjust messages and style based on different audiences and agendas.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Masters degree is preferred

  • Data modeling, Databricks, ThoughtSpot, and Data Mesh concepts experience preferred

  • Previous banking, management consulting, or equivalent experience preferred

  • Passion to understand the business and design data-driven solutions that seek to address complex objectives
