As a Relationship Executive, Senior Financing Specialist, you will lead strategic financing engagement, structuring, and execution for companies in the Healthcare Services sector with sales sizes ranging from $20 million to $2 billion. You will partner closely with Commercial Bank Healthcare Services bankers, and coordinate across the Syndicated Finance group, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), and the Financial Sponsors group, as well as Credit and other product partners, to deliver integrated financing solutions.
The Healthcare Services team is part of J.P. Morgan's Commercial Bank in its Commercial and Specialized Industries group. In this role you will be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships with the worlds most innovative companies. We work both independently and as part of a dynamic team to deliver the entire firm to our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead strategic financing dialogue and indications on sell-side / buy-side staple financings, M&A financings, direct lending deals and other strategic financing activity for Mid-Corp Healthcare Services clients in coordination with Global IB / Mid-Cap IB, Financial Sponsors Group, Credit, DCM / syndications and CB Banking
- Structure and drive execution of credit and financing solutions (e.g., revolvers, term loans, delayed-draw facilities, acquisition facilities), coordinating across Credit, Treasury Services, Investment Banking, and capital markets partners as appropriate
- Provide market-informed advice on pricing, terms, documentation considerations, and deal dynamics; contribute to disciplined decisioning and risk-return optimization
- Stay current on industry trends in Healthcare Services to identify themes impacting financing needs (regulatory shifts, reimbursement dynamics, consolidation, labor, technology enablement) and incorporate into financing strategies
- Build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders across the firm to mobilize resources efficiently and deliver coordinated outcomes on strategic financing priorities
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- 8+ years of above-average performance in a similar banking role, including credit, lending, leveraged finance, or structured finance experience
- Strong understanding of Commercial Banking credit products and services, including underwriting fundamentals, documentation concepts, and risk management frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder execution and drive workstreams to closure under tight timelines
- Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources across product, credit, and control partners to deliver integrated financing solutions
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
