As a Transaction Reporting Analyst in our Regulatory Reporting team, you will play a vital role in ensuring complete, timely, and accurate reporting across the UK, Europe, Switzerland, Singapore, and Hong Kong. You will leverage your analytical skills and regulatory knowledge to interpret complex requirements and deliver high-impact solutions. Working within a collaborative and diverse team, you will help us navigate significant regulatory changes and drive innovation in our reporting processes. You will be empowered to make informed decisions, challenge the status quo, and contribute to the success of our global business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve issues or queries across our inventory of regulatory reports
  • Interpret and transform regulations into clear business requirement documents
  • Apply reporting rules to specific business activities, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Collaborate with upstream business teams to deliver complete, timely, and accurate data to global regulators
  • Partner with teams in Edinburgh, Geneva, and Bangalore, and work closely with Compliance, Controls, Projects, and Governance stakeholders
  • Analyze large data sets to identify trends, generate insights, and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Critically review and challenge interpretations and applications of transaction reporting regulations
  • Prioritize and execute multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Foster strong relationships and collaborate across global stakeholder groups

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in transaction or regulatory reporting, with a strong understanding of EMIR, MIFID II, FMIA, or similar regulations
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities and delivering results under pressure
  • Proficiency in analyzing large data sets and generating actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts to varied audiences

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience delivering regulatory change initiatives
  • Knowledge of equity and complex derivative investment products
  • Familiarity with global transaction reporting regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working in a collaborative, in-person office environment
