- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customersManages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmapOwns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value propositionBuilds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliabilityManages all aspects the product development process, including but not limited to defining product requirements, overseeing implementation, ensuring product adoption, continuous product expansion and demonstrating advocacy for specific product and solutions across securities/asset services data.Contributes meaningfully to the analysis, design, quality control, and documentation for securities/asset services data.Serves as a key leader in production ideation, management, requirements gathering, vendor engagement and roadmap executionDocuments and maintain clear product requirements that will act as a guide for business and technical teams to build, launch and market productsCollaborates cross-functionally with multiple lines of business (Sales, Client Solutions, Engineering, Product, Data Science)Serves as a trusted advisor for Sales and Client Solution teams to lean on and establish long-term partnershipsIdentifies expansion opportunities through market research and customer interactions to develop strategies that align with business objectivesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaAdvanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsProven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementDemonstrate strong relationship and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with senior business and technology executivesFamiliarity with technical concepts, data models and a strong passion for product developmentOrganize, prioritize and escalate critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making; establish priorities, and provide oversight and guidance to team of those prioritiesAbility to distill widely variant feedback into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other stakeholdersExcellent business presentation, writing and verbal communication skillsProven expertise in leading strategic product initiativesStrong facilitation, process and influencing skillsFunctional knowledge of common programming languages (such as Python or R) and database languages (such as SQL)Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
