As a Loan Origination Associate within the APAC Wholesale Lending Services Middle Office, you support the full loan lifecycle for bilateral and syndicated facilities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. You collaborate with credit and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality lending solutions and exceptional client service. You review proposals and documentation, maintain robust controls, and contribute to continuous improvement across regional and global initiatives. You help monitor portfolio activity and credit policy developments to support prudent risk management and seamless client outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Drive the execution, servicing, and origination of bilateral and syndicated loan transactions with accurate, timely delivery across the lifecycle.
  • Review credit proposals to confirm alignment with facility documentation and agreed terms.
  • Build strong partnerships with credit and internal stakeholders to enable seamless deal execution.
  • Maintain quality measures and data to meet client service standards.
  • Monitor credit policy developments and escalate questions as needed.
  • Review and interpret loan documentation to assess operational feasibility with strong analytical rigor.
  • Uphold a robust control environment and follow best practices to prevent control breaches.
  • Participate in team, regional, and global projects to drive efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Support portfolio coverage and credit monitoring activities.
     

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, banking operations, or lending services 
  • Advanced understanding of loan products and transaction management
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to propose effective solutions
  • Demonstrate a strong risk and control mindset by proactively identifying issues, assessing impact and root cause, and escalating promptly to the appropriate parties
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Deliver dependable, timely, accurate support through strong organization skills, sharp prioritization, and disciplined time management
  • Adapt quickly to change with a strong willingness to learn and take on new assignments
  • Drive efficiency and control improvements through process-focused initiatives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, and ability to learn new systems and technologies.
