This role sits within the U.S. Regulatory Capital and CCAR Reporting team of the Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) group, supporting Basel III Standardized and Advanced Approaches reporting for JP Morgan Chase and its subsidiaries, including CCAR stress testing. FRRA owns end-to-end U.S. regulatory reporting and capital stress testing frameworks, covering design, implementation, execution oversight, analysis, and control and governance. The group determines investments in people, processes, and technology to enhance the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of regulatory reporting and stress testing filings. FRRA also leads the implementation of new regulatory requirements and guidelines as they are issued. A core objective is to provide leadership on all aspects of U.S. regulatory reporting and firmwide capital stress testing, spanning both internal and regulatory requirements.

As a Vice President on the U.S. Regulatory Capital and CCAR Reporting team within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production of regulatory reports for Capital and Risk-Weighted Assets under the Basel III Standardized and Advanced Approaches. You will be deeply involved in the end-to-end reporting process, analyzing risk-based capital results across external reports, reviewing and consolidating variance analyses, and ensuring adherence to established procedures and SOX controls. The position offers a strong opportunity to build and refine skills in financial services, regulatory reporting, and stakeholder management. Success in this role requires proven leadership, clear communication, rigorous analytical capability, and exceptional attention to detail. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end integrity of capital and RWA reporting, filings, and data oversight, covering analysis, production, and validation.
  • Review quarterly actuals for FFIEC 101/102, FR Y9C (HCR), and Call Report (RCR), plus FR Y14A stress test forecasts.
  • Ensure RWA and related balances comply with regulatory instructions within a robust control and procedural framework.
  • Assist in the presentation of quarterly regulatory capital results to the Treasurer, Firmwide Controller, and regulators (FRB, OCC, FDIC), with variance analysis by product/report.
  • Review and analyze Standardized and Advanced RWA, SLR, and capital results for JP Morgan Chase and its Lead Bank for CCAR and Risk Appetite stress tests.
  • Address internal and external regulatory inquiries.
  • Monitor industry, accounting changes, and regulator changes (e.g. Basel end-game) to maintain accurate filings and assess reporting impacts.
  • Lead process improvements and manage quarterly and CCAR postmortem actions.
  • Execute internal controls for quarterend close and CCAR/Risk Appetite reporting.
  • Run crossreport error reviews and revision decision forums to determine regulatory reporting impacts; communicate instruction changes promptly to stakeholders.
  • Partner with LOBs, Capital Management/Policy/Controllers to ensure compliance, and lead the Basel III Endgame external reporting workstream across stakeholders postannouncement.

 

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities: 

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services or a related industry

  • Firmwide regulatory reporting experience with deep Basel capital expertise

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to partner effectively with managers and stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong control mindset with experience establishing or enhancing internal controls

  • Solid knowledge of regulatory reporting standards and requirements

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
