A unique opportunity exists to join a dynamic Finance & Business Management (F&BM) team in a Senior Associate role supporting key functions within the Chief Technology Office.  The CTO Office is responsible for integrating new and emerging technologies across JPMorganChase to drive innovation and competitive advantage. The team partners with business and technology leaders to shape strategy, translate research into practical applications, and oversee the design and delivery of critical enterprise products and platforms aligned with the firms evolving needs.

As a Financial Analysis Senior Associate within CTO, you will be a self-starter who can manage varying levels of complexity, adapt to shifting priorities, and operate effectively within a global team. Success in this role depends on building strong relationships, driving execution, and ensuring senior management has clear visibility into key initiatives, financials, and business metrics. You will work closely with senior Technology leaders, the CFO organization, and key F&BM partners to enable effective end-to-end execution. You will also demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, an ability to partner effectively across stakeholders, and a track record of delivering in fast-paced environments.
 

Job responsibilities:
 

  • Support the CTO Office leadership team in setting objectives, tracking progress, and maintaining operational metrics and reporting.
  • Partner with finance, risk, and technology stakeholders to help ensure alignment, prepare materials, and drive clear communication and follow-ups.
  • Support expense management, including review of consultants, vendors, and infrastructure spend, and prepare approvals in line with policy.
  • Partner with financial management on the annual budget process; assist with unit costing and cost-to-serve analysis, with a focus on product & platforms.
  • Contribute to Transformation workstreams, including supporting financial and portfolio management tools (e.g., requirements gathering, testing support, adoption tracking).
  • Maintain headcount reporting and forecasting, including monitoring open roles, attrition, and location mix; reconcile data across sources and flag variances.
  • Support investment governance activities, including assembling business case materials, tracking approval status, and maintaining documentation and logs.
  • Prepare senior-level updates (dashboards, summaries, packs) that are concise, accurate, and action-oriented.
  • Build partnerships across levels to support day-to-day business management needs and deliverables.
  • Support ongoing financial management routines (monthly close/reporting, forecasting, expense tracking), ensuring data quality and timely delivery.
     

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
 

  • Bachelors degree required 
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting budgeting/forecasting, management reporting, expense management, or business management processes.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to build clear, accurate materials for leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate analysis into an understandable business narrative.
  • Comfort working with data (e.g., reconciling sources, summarizing trends, presenting key insights clearly).
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset: proactive, organized, and able to drive tasks to completion with limited direction.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to design business reporting and analysis that is clear, concise, and actionable.
