Join Firmwide FP&A to shape senior decision-making through high-impact reporting and analysis. You will partner across lines of business and Functional Finance to deliver insights on budgets, forecasts, and key drivers. This role offers visibility with senior stakeholders and opportunities to lead deep-dive analyses and strategic projects.

As an FP&A Associate within Firmwide Planning & Analysis, you will partner across the firm to deliver impactful reporting, planning, and financial analysis for senior management. You will develop and present budget and forecast insights, build and maintain financial models, and lead deep dives to identify root causes and recommend solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders across lines of business and Functional Finance to ensure accurate, timely, and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a liaison across Firmwide P&A, lines of business, Functional Finance, and support teams to deliver impactful reporting and planning.
  • Produce presentations, analyses, and supporting materials for senior management and key internal clients.
  • Develop and present qualitative and quantitative analysis across annual budgets and quarterly/monthly forecast variances.
  • Create, maintain, and review recurring and ad-hoc financial models and analyses.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on key issues, identify root causes, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate across P&A, lines of business, and other partners to deliver recurring and ad-hoc initiatives accurately and on time.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Firmwide, Functional Finance, and lines of business teams.
  • Support ad-hoc requests and special projects, prioritizing deliverables effectively.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • Hold a BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Bring 3+ years of relevant FP&A experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly in writing and verbally while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Apply advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including strong modeling and presentation capabilities.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with sound judgment, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Synthesize multiple datasets into cohesive presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Hold a CFA, CPA, or MBA qualification.
  • Utilize Essbase, Visual Basic, and/or macros to automate analysis and improve efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and stakeholder management skills across functions.
  • Operate as a self-starter with a proactive, results-oriented mindset in changing priorities.
  • Exhibit curiosity and critical thinking to anticipate questions from senior management.
