Full Job Description

We're seeking someone to join our IBD Finance FP&A team as a Specialist in the Finance Division to drive various activities related to oversight of the Annual CCAR submission, Quarterly Stress Test processes, Annual Budget process as well as other analyses as required by the Business Unit (BU).

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is an Associate / Director within our Financial Planning & Analysis Job Family which is responsible for the firms budget, forecast, internal management reporting and financial analysis to provide insight into the firms current and expected financial performance, as well as expense allocation

What you'll do in the role:
-Partner with other ISG (Institutional Securities Group) FP&A groups and ISG Finance product controllers on model and data enhancements
-Develop risk & control frameworks, manage governance documentations, policies, and procedures as required for QST / annual CCAR
-Assist with facilitating governance meetings and coordinate with Corporate FP&A, Risk, and business management teams to perform governance and control related tasks
-Evaluate and streamline processes and control frameworks to ensure efficiency and compliance with internal governance standards
-Perform a wide variety of analyses and forecasting exercises as required
-Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work
-Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm
standards

What you'll bring to the role:
-In-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry
and competitive environment
-Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities
-Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes
-Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/tasks, manage expectations and complete deliverables in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail
-Capable of succinctly summarizing complex accounting and/or reporting results
-Exceptional project management skills
-Sound business judgement
-Strong interpersonal skills, including a balance of assertiveness and building cross-business relationships
-At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
-Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs
