Job Summary
As a Payment Lifecycle Associate I in the Change Management Team within EMEA Cash Operations, you will coordinate requirements and process updates for technology projects, perform post-implementation analysis, and drive improvements in Straight-Through Processing (STP) rates. You will collaborate with Technology and Product partners, manage complex inquiries, and support continuous process improvement. In this role, you will leverage your analytical skills and operational expertise to deliver impactful change and support business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate project requirements and process changes with stakeholders, ensuring documentation in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Analyze technology projects related to Funds Transfer Systems (FTS) enhancements and assess operational impacts
- Perform post-implementation impact analysis on FTS-related projects to identify and drive improvements
- Conduct STP analysis on payment and credit error codes to increase STP rates
- Manage complex and non-BAU inquiries, providing guidance on payment formatting and process efficiency
- Utilize static data tables to support payment repairs and process improvements
- Collaborate with Technology and Product partners to identify and implement system enhancements
- Transform strategic plans into actionable programs and projects, overseeing planning, execution, and closure
- Manage dependencies and change initiatives, aligning people, processes, and technology with business objectives
- Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders for effective governance
- Support training and knowledge transfer within the team
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum three years of experience in payment operations, change management, or technology-driven project roles within financial services
- Strong understanding of payments, credits, and Funds Transfer Systems
- Analytical skills to perform impact and STP analysis, and interpret error codes and static data tables
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage escalations and work effectively in teams
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a strong client focus
- Advanced proficiency in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred qualifications, skills, and/or capabilities
- Experience with automation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or Machine Learning is an advantage
