As a Senior Product Associate in Embedded Finance, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
 
As a key member of the Embedded Finance Program Execution and Product Readiness team within J.P. Morgan Payments, you will help shape & execute our strategy collaborating across product, sales, and marketing to deliver business outcomes. You will work on exciting initiatives and manage key components of our operating rhythm. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a commercial mindset. You will be part of one of the most innovative areas of the bank, with direct access to client and stakeholder feedback, and the opportunity to rapidly expand your expertise in payments, technology, and our operating rhythm.

 
Job responsibilities
  • Learn and execute on our Operating Rhythm, including but not limited to Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, Deal Advisory and Deal Reviews
  • Understand the Payments End-to-End ecosystem while seeking opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination.
  • Leads the completion of ad-hoc activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.  This may include exciting opportunities to work on Communications and other innovative initiatives. 
  • Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners 
  • Champion a culture or learning , ownership mindset, and collaboration.
  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development 
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Ability to communicate data-driven insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment; adapts quickly, works collaboratively, takes initiative, and manages multiple priorities.
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in Product, Strategy and / or Commercialization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
