As a Product Manager within the Connected Banking team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

 

 

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Lead the Enrollment APG within Connected Banking, overseeing onboarding and signup flows for Consumer Credit Journey, Business Credit Journey, and a new paid subscription product 
  • Manage and coach a team of product managers, fostering growth and accountability
  • Own the full product lifecycle: strategy, discovery, delivery, and ongoing KPI/results monitoring
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, technology, design, and data teams to deliver seamless solutions
  • Champion a customer-centric approach by understanding how customers become and remain engaged with Chase, blending customer needs with business objectives

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Proven experience in end-to-end product management, including strategy, delivery, and performance tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor team members, or a strong track record indicating readiness for people management
  • Strong technical fluency and comfort with technology, with hands-on experience in both customer-facing UI conversion flows and backend system integration (APIs, events, batch files)
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, comfortable working with large-scale systems and diverse partners
  • Ability to understand and address the fundamental needs of customers, ensuring solutions are simple and effective

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Prior experience as a people manager within product management, ideally at the 603 level or equivalent.
  • Background in digital account opening, online checkout flows, or large-scale account management systems.
  • Passion for solving complex matters with a customer-centric mindset
