As a Product Manager within the Connected Banking team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Lead the Enrollment APG within Connected Banking, overseeing onboarding and signup flows for Consumer Credit Journey, Business Credit Journey, and a new paid subscription product
- Manage and coach a team of product managers, fostering growth and accountability
- Own the full product lifecycle: strategy, discovery, delivery, and ongoing KPI/results monitoring
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, technology, design, and data teams to deliver seamless solutions
- Champion a customer-centric approach by understanding how customers become and remain engaged with Chase, blending customer needs with business objectives
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaAdvanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsProven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementProven experience in end-to-end product management, including strategy, delivery, and performance trackingDemonstrated ability to manage and mentor team members, or a strong track record indicating readiness for people managementStrong technical fluency and comfort with technology, with hands-on experience in both customer-facing UI conversion flows and backend system integration (APIs, events, batch files)Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, comfortable working with large-scale systems and diverse partnersAbility to understand and address the fundamental needs of customers, ensuring solutions are simple and effective
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Prior experience as a people manager within product management, ideally at the 603 level or equivalent.
- Background in digital account opening, online checkout flows, or large-scale account management systems.
- Passion for solving complex matters with a customer-centric mindset
