As a Financial Associate in the Card Investment Strategy team, you will own the financial evaluation framework for our key Card lending strategy “Chase Pay over Time”, leading analytical initiatives that directly impact strategy decisions and serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the organization. In this role, you will develop sophisticated NPV forecasts, translate complex quantitative analysis into actionable insights, and coordinate impacts to the Card budget, including stressed scenarios.
Job responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial impact assessments and NPV modeling for Credit Cards lending strategies leveraging data manipulation techniques & robust forecasting/statistical methodologies
- Create data-driven insights and quantitative models to guide senior leadership on revenue and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable analytical frameworks
- Drive business planning, forecasting, and regulatory stress testing in partnership with Card Finance
- Analyze ongoing financial performance, identify key variance drivers and opportunities, and present findings to senior stakeholders
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance modeling efficiency and forecasting accuracy
- Maintain model governance documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and audit standards
- Provide mentorship to analysts and associates, and lead cross-functional teams, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s/ Post Graduate degree in Finance, Mathematics , Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, risk or finance-related role
- Proficiency in SAS/SQL/Python & Business Intelligence tools
- Good business understanding of Lending products like Credit Cards , Unsecured Loans
- Proficient in building P&L and financial modeling concepts (NPV, ROI, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Adept at working with granular data tables to draw out segment-level profitability
- Experience in forecasting and budgeting
- Strong quantitative, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and process skills, with attention to detail
- Capable of working autonomously in an ambiguous dynamic, matrixed environment and managing multiple responsibilities with tight timelines

- Knowledge of Card, Consumer lending, or other financial services
